Helping A Friend

My friend came over to visit this morning. His wife died a few months ago and he is fresh in his grief. I have reached out to him and spent time with him knowing how lonely and sad you get when your wife dies. And also I remember how no one spent time with me once the funeral was over when Kathy died.

A grieving person doesn’t need us to be a pest. They don’t need us to treat them like an invalid. But they do need someone to care about them enough to  spend time with them. To talk and laugh, or to cry. I am glad I can help my friend.
