Fools Rush In

Fools rush in (where angels fear to tread).

Or, from the song Some enchanted evening, this phrase:
Who can explain it, who can tell you why
Fools give you reasons, wise men never try.

When we see the word fool it defines itself in our minds a certain way. I think maybe in my mind it is talking about pride rather than foolishness.

Often times when dealing with people we don’t understand we are quick to offer to solve their problems or to fix their thinking. It never crosses our mind to try to understand why they think that way or why they act like they do. We tend to apply a quick fix to a deep and festering problem. God can fix things in a moment but we cannot.

So please, I know you want to help. But stop a minute before you rush in and hold your tongue when you want to give the reason why.
